OH! HOLY FATHER

Oh Holy Father (1), I beg you, look around

Those who lament their Holocaust (2) did worse

At Qana (3), Gaza, Hebron and Shekem (4)

Their stained hands are on sight in every case

They had their children sing for love and peace

In front of you, but they teach them to hate

They wash their brains with myths of super race (5)

And racist teachings they should not debate

Oh! Holy Father, see those souls crucified

By Zionist aspirations and cruel ways

Listen to Christians of the Holy Land

To see their sufferings in these Zionist days

Their olive trees are cut, while you plant one

Under the peace pretensions of Peres (6)

Christian homes are demolished and vandalized

By Zionist laws and plans in many ways

How can racists like Bibi (7) and Avigdor (8)

That call for death and destruction, make peace?

Their ignorance and arrogance combined

Can only bring havoc, pain and disease

The Holy Land of Peace and varied faiths

Lost Peace and Harmony since May, Forty Eight (9)

Greed and adventure brought flocks of World wolves

To disrupt a co-existence that was great

They put the Middle East in such turmoil

Where hundred gods and hundred saints can’t solve

Please, Holy Father, give us faith and help

Through your blessing and faith Peace may evolve

At Aida Camp (10) you stood, an honored guest

In Bethlehem (11), and blessed its suffering souls

Like Jesus Lord, you blessed its oppressed folks

But in his days there were no racist walls (12)

How can nations build trust through racial blocks?

How can Peace become real in such a land?

How can two nations co-exist and dream

Of building their bright future hand in hand?

Jerusalem is fettered in their chains

Lord Jesus is shedding tears in his grave

Justice and Peace he died for in this World

Were shattered by conquest, wave after wave
