Dr. Fathi Abdallah

Born in Sar’a, Jerusalem, said to be the biblical village of Zorah, the birthplace of Samson. He studied at Bethlehem Secondary school and then joined the medical school at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon (AUB) 1960-1968 where he graduated with the degree of Doctor of Medicine in June 1968. Then he joined the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco) Medical Department as a primary care physician from 1968-1974.

In 1974, he returned to the AUB Department of Otolaryngology for specialization from 1974-1976 where he received a diploma in Otolaryngology. He then joined Raytheon Company, a contractor to the Royal Air Force in Saudi Arabia from 1977-2017 when he retired as the Regional Medical Director for Raytheon in the Middle East.

He writes poetry in Arabic and English. He has one volume of poetry published in New York by Vantage press and he has two volumes of poetry in Arabic published in Jordan. He has a novel in English entitled “Via Dolorosa” and six more volumes of poetry, one of which is written in English and the rest in Arabic, ready for printing. Two volumes are expected to be on the market soon.

الدكتور فتحي عبدالله

ولد الدكتور فتحي عبدالله في قرية صرعة من قضاء القدس في فلسطين عام ١٩٤٣ والتي يذكر العهد القديم من التوراة انها القرية التي ولد فيها شمشون الجبار. درس في مدرسة بيت لحم الثانوية ثم التحق بالجامعة الامريكية في بيروت لدراسة الطب من ١٩٦٠–١٩٦٨ وتخرج منها بدرجة دكتور في الطب في حزيران ١٩٦٨.

عمل لدى شركة الزيت العربية الامريكية ( ارامكو ) في السعودية كطبيب للعناية الاولية من ١٩٦٨–١٩٧٤ ثم عاد الى الجامعة الامريكية للتخصص في جراحة الانف والاذن والحنجرة وحصل على دبلوم في التخصص ولم يكمل تخصصه بسبب اندلاع الحرب الاهلية اللبنانية.

عاد للعمل في السعودية طبيبا ثم مديرا طبيا اقليميا في الشرق الاوسط لشركة ريثيون الامريكية المتعاقدة مع وزارة الدفاع والطيران السعودية من ١٩٧٧–٢٠١٧ حيث تقاعد عن العمل. صدر له ديوانا شعر بالعربية في عمان / الاردن وديوان بالانجليزية في نيويورك. وله ديوانا شعر بالعربية تحت الطبع وثلاث دواوين اخرى قيد الاعداد للطبع احدها باللغة الانجليزية. وله ايضا رواية قيد الاعداد للطبع باللغة الانجليزية بعنوان ( طريق الآلام ).
